How to redeem All Star Tower Defense codes
Open Roblox and join an All Star Tower Defense session. Once you load into the lobby, look for the Twitter bird icon on the left side of the screen — it is the small blue icon stacked beneath the main menu buttons. Tap or click it to open the code redemption panel.
Type or paste your code exactly as written into the text field. Capitalisation matters: ALLSTARSPRING and allstarspring are treated as different strings by the game server, so always copy from a trusted source. Press the blue Redeem button to submit.
A green confirmation banner appears immediately if the code is valid. The reward lands in your account inventory right away — Gems go straight to your balance, Stardust and Gold update in the currency bar, and any Unit or Mount reward appears in your collection panel. If you see a red error message, scroll down to the troubleshooting section for the most common causes.
Mobile players follow the same flow: the Twitter icon appears in the same screen position on phone and tablet layouts.
How we verify every code
Every code listed on this page has been checked against the live game server before publication. Our process runs on a four-hour refresh cycle: an automated job re-tests each code against All Star Tower Defense at regular intervals, marks any that return an error response as expired, and removes them from the active list within hours of them going dead.
When a code passes the live check it receives a verified pill next to it — a small green badge showing the last successful test timestamp. That badge is the quickest way to tell which codes are worth trying right now versus which ones are shown only for historical reference in the expired section.
We also cross-reference against four independent third-party publisher round-ups to catch codes that drop between our scheduled runs. If a new code surfaces in multiple round-ups simultaneously, it gets fast-tracked into our queue and tested within the hour. This layered approach means the active list here stays cleaner and more current than any single source.
We do not list unconfirmed codes reported by single sources, and we do not carry codes whose reward strings are ambiguous or whose claim conditions (level gates, server type) are unclear. If a code shows up here, its reward description is exact.
What you can get from All Star Tower Defense codes
Understanding what each currency does helps you prioritise which codes to redeem first.
Gems are the primary premium currency. Each Banner summon costs a set number of Gems, and the ten-pull multi-summon is the most efficient way to chase high-rarity units. Codes that give 500 or more Gems are worth banking rather than spending immediately if a new Banner is about to rotate in.
Stardust drives the evolution system. Most units can be pushed past their base star rating by feeding them Stardust alongside evolution materials. Late-game progression is almost entirely gated by Stardust, so codes that include it alongside Gems — such as ASTDEGGOPENEDFINALLY — offer compounded value.
Gold is used to unlock units from the unit roster and to pay for certain upgrade actions mid-wave. It accumulates steadily from gameplay but code top-ups accelerate early-game unit diversity.
Units — specific codes occasionally drop a free six-star legendary unit directly into your collection. These are the highest-value code rewards in the game; ABOUTTIMESNOWRBX2023 is a past example, delivering the Ice-X Marine Unit.
Mounts modify the cosmetic appearance of your in-lobby character and some apply passive bonuses. ASTDDRAGONOIDBAKUGAN gives the Dragonoid Mount directly.
Boosters appear during event periods and temporarily increase XP gain, Gem drops from wave clears, or drop-rate multipliers for Eggs.
When new codes drop
All Star Tower Defense codes follow a recognisable release pattern once you know what to watch for.
Major content updates are the most reliable trigger. Whenever Top Down Games ships a new World, a large Banner wave, or a significant balance overhaul, at least one promotional code accompanies the patch notes. These codes typically offer 500 to 1,500 Gems and sometimes bundle Stardust.
Milestone anniversaries generate multi-code drops. The one-million-likes milestone produced ASTD1MILLIKES (1,250 Gems). Watch the official group page and in-game notification board around each full-year anniversary.
Sub2 YouTuber codes are distributed through collaborating creators. These codes require you to be subscribed to the creator's channel on YouTube before redeeming; the game checks this at claim time. They rotate roughly monthly.
Server-shutdown apology codes are rare but happen when a major maintenance window or unexpected downtime forces players off. Top Down Games has historically compensated affected players with a short-lived gem code shortly after services restore.
Holiday seasonals drop around Halloween, the Winter update window (late November through early January), and Easter. The BIGWINTERUPDATESOON code teasing gem and Stardust rewards ahead of a Winter update is an example of the pre-update hype drop pattern.
Why some codes don't work
If a code returns an error, one of these six reasons almost always explains it.
Case sensitivity. Every ASTD code is case-sensitive. Type it in all-caps exactly as shown. A single lowercase letter causes an immediate rejection.
Level gates. Several codes require your account to have reached a minimum level before the server accepts the claim. BIGWINTERUPDATESOON requires level 40; BLAMSPONGE requires level 50. If you are below the threshold the code will appear invalid until you level up.
Play-time gates. Some codes require a minimum number of hours played on your account. ABOUTTIMESNOWRBX2023 carries both a level-40 requirement and a play-time requirement alongside its Ice-X Marine Unit reward.
Server-specific codes. CHAINSMOKE91 only works on brand-new World One servers — servers that were freshly opened, not ones that have been running for hours or days. If you join an older server the code will fail. Switch to a new server instance and try again.
One-per-account limit. All codes can only be redeemed once per Roblox account. If you see "already redeemed" you have already claimed it on this account, even if you do not remember doing so.
Expired codes. Codes do not last forever. Most promotional codes expire within a few months of release; event codes tied to a specific season expire when that season ends. Check the verified pill timestamp and the expired section below before spending time troubleshooting.
All Star Tower Defense code FAQ
How often do new codes drop? Roughly every two to four weeks during active development windows. Major update patches guarantee at least one code; quiet periods between updates may go three or four weeks without a new release.
Are the codes case-sensitive? Yes. Always type codes in all-caps as shown. The game server performs an exact string match and a single incorrect letter causes a rejection.
What is the level gate and how do I reach it faster? Codes gated at level 40 or level 50 require that account level, not unit level. The fastest path is running Infinite mode repeatedly — it yields more account XP per minute than story chapters once you have a mid-tier team composition. Focus Gem spending on units that perform well in Infinite rather than story-only specialists.
Why do some codes only work on brand-new World One servers? Certain promotional codes are flagged server-side as claimable only in freshly-opened lobby instances. This is a distribution control mechanism Top Down Games uses to prevent mass simultaneous redemption on a single server from overloading reward processing. To claim these codes, open the server browser, filter by World One, and sort by fewest players to find a newly-opened instance.
Is Star Pass worth it for a free-to-play player considering going premium? Star Pass provides a daily Gem allowance and exclusive cosmetic rewards. If you play at least five days out of every seven during the active pass window, the accumulated daily Gems typically exceed the cost in value compared to buying an equivalent Gem pack outright. The break-even is roughly six days of consistent log-ins. Below that threshold, a one-time Gem purchase is more efficient.
What is the fastest Infinite mode farm setup? High-damage AoE units placed at early chokepoints with a Stun support unit behind them is the dominant meta for wave efficiency. Prioritise evolving your AoE carry to five stars before investing Stardust anywhere else. Check the current Top Down Games patch notes for any unit that received a multiplier buff in the most recent balance pass.
Can I redeem codes on mobile? Yes. The Twitter icon redemption panel is present in the mobile layout at the same screen position as the desktop version. Tap the icon, paste the code, and tap Redeem. Touch-typing long codes is error-prone — copy from this page and paste directly to avoid case errors.
What is the difference between ASTD and ASTD X? ASTD X (All Star Tower Defense X) is a separate sequel experience developed by Top Down Games on a different Roblox place ID. Codes for the original ASTD do not cross over to ASTD X and vice versa. This page covers the original All Star Tower Defense only.
Are codes safe to use? Codes are redeemed inside the official Roblox game client through the in-game Twitter icon panel. No third-party tool, external site login, or Robux payment is required. Any site or person asking you to log in elsewhere to claim a code is a phishing attempt.
Which YouTubers release the most ASTD sub-codes? Top Down Games partners with a rotating roster of Roblox-focused anime content creators for sub2 codes. Follow the official ASTD Roblox group and the game's Discord announcement channel — both post creator code announcements directly without requiring you to track individual channels.
Should I spend Gems immediately or save them? Save Gems until a limited-time Banner featuring a unit you need goes live. Limited Banners have higher drop-rate weighting on featured units compared to the standard pool. Spending on the standard Banner between limited windows is the most common way players end up short on Gems for the units that actually matter to their team.
What currency should I prioritise overall? Gems unlock the units; Stardust makes them competitive at endgame. In the first month of a new account, spend Gems aggressively to build a working roster, then shift emphasis to accumulating Stardust so your best units can evolve and keep pace with harder content.
Glossary
Gems — The premium in-game currency. Used to pull on Banner summons. Earned through codes, daily login rewards, and completing story chapters for the first time.
Stardust — The evolution material currency. Required alongside other materials to push a unit past its base star rating. Scarcer than Gems and cannot be purchased directly with Robux.
Gold — The general-purpose soft currency. Spent to unlock new units from the roster and to pay for certain mid-wave upgrades. Accumulates from wave clears and story progression.
Banner — A limited or permanent summon pool. Each Banner has a featured unit with elevated drop rates and a cost per pull in Gems. Limited Banners rotate out after a set window.
Unit star rarity — Units are rated from one star (common) through six stars (legendary). Higher rarity units deal more base damage, have more upgrade nodes, and generally require more Gold to deploy on the map.
Evo (Evolution) — The process of increasing a unit's star rating beyond its base rarity by consuming Stardust and specific material items. Evolved units gain significantly boosted stats and often unlock a new ability.
Stat Reroll — A mechanic that randomises the secondary stat bonuses on a unit. Useful for optimising a maxed unit's performance in Infinite mode.
Mount — A cosmetic item that changes the appearance of your in-lobby avatar. Some limited Mounts also carry small passive bonuses during gameplay.
World — A content zone within ASTD. Each World contains a set of story stages, a difficulty ladder, and its own wave configuration. Higher Worlds require stronger team compositions and gate certain code rewards behind a minimum World completion.
Infinite mode — The endlessly scaling wave survival mode. The primary source of high-tier account XP and certain rare drop materials once story content is cleared. Performance in Infinite mode is the benchmark most competitive players use to evaluate unit and team strength.
Working tips beyond codes
Star Pass timing. Only activate Star Pass if you are certain you will log in consistently for the duration of the pass. The daily Gem drip is the core value; missing five or more days in a 30-day pass window makes the purchase uncompetitive compared to a direct Gem bundle.
Daily Gem farming. Log in every day for the login streak bonus — the streak resets if you miss a day, and the Day 7 reward is substantially larger than daily entries. Run at least one Infinite mode session per day session for the wave-clear Gem bonus. Completing the three rotating daily quests adds a further Gem top-up that compounds quickly over a week.
Evo material strategy. Do not attempt to evolve every unit. Pick one AoE carry and one support unit, drive both to maximum evolution first, then rotate to secondary units. Spreading Stardust thin across six units simultaneously results in none of them reaching competitive thresholds in a reasonable timeframe.
Dungeon raid weekly. The weekly dungeon raid resets every Monday. Clear it on reset day rather than the end of the week to give yourself the full seven days to spend any raid-currency rewards before they expire.
Official Roblox group join. Joining the official Top Down Games Roblox group is a one-time action that grants an in-game Gem bonus on your next log-in. It also makes you eligible for group-member-exclusive code drops that are not posted publicly on social media.

About this page
This page is maintained by the bloxyblox editorial team. We run a dedicated verification job against the All Star Tower Defense game server every four hours, updating the verified status of each code automatically and removing expired codes from the active list as soon as they stop working.
The article above was last reviewed and updated in May 2026. Game mechanics, currency names, and redemption flows are accurate as of that date; All Star Tower Defense is an actively developed game and details may change after a major content update.
If you spot a code that is listed as working but returns an error for you, check the troubleshooting section first — level gates and server-type requirements account for the majority of unexpected failures. If you find a working code that is not listed here, the four-hour refresh cycle will surface it through our cross-reference process and add it automatically.
