Roblox glossary for beginners

Currencies and shop terms

Every Roblox game uses its own in-game currency, but the same word can mean wildly different things across titles. The list below covers the ones you'll see in Bloxyblox code rewards.

• Robux — Roblox's platform-level currency. Codes never grant Robux. If a "code list" claims to give Robux, it's a scam.
• Premium — Roblox's paid subscription. Some games gate codes or rewards behind Premium membership. Always called out on the code row.
• Beli — Blox Fruits' soft currency. Used for buying basic gear at NPCs.
• Fragments — Blox Fruits' hard currency. Used for upgrading rare moves and trading.
• Sheckles — Grow a Garden's currency. Used to buy crops, seeds, and pet eggs.
• Gems — Pet Simulator 99 and Anime Vanguards both call their hard currency "Gems." They are not interchangeable.

Reward types

• 2x XP — short-duration XP multiplier, usually 15–60 minutes. Stack with other multipliers when possible.
• Rerolls / Stat Rerolls — re-rolls a unit's stats or a fruit's modifier. Common in gacha-style games.
• Spins — used to randomize abilities or fruits. Often the most valuable code-only reward.
• Crate / Pet Egg — rolls a random pet from a pool. Rarities follow the pool, not your luck.

Mechanics terms

• Place — a single game instance, identified by a numeric place ID. Bloxyblox keys to place IDs internally and resolves slugs via Roblox's public API.
• Universe — the parent container for multiple places (e.g. lobby + match servers).
• Loadstring — the executor command that loads a script. Used in our scripts pages, never in codes.
• Verified — for codes, this means at least two publisher sources listed the same string within the last 4 hours.
