How we verify every code

What separates this page from the daily rewrites you see elsewhere.

6-source cross-check
A code only appears above once it shows up in at least two independent publisher round-ups, out of the 6 we monitor.
Auto refresh
The scraper runs every 4 hours and refreshes Roblox stats every hour. Stale codes flip to expired automatically.
Verified in a live server
Top codes are sanity-checked inside a live Da Hood server before we surface them as Working.

Expired codes

Kept for reference. These no longer redeem — please don't waste time.

How to redeem Da Hood codes

Four-step process. Identical on PC, mobile, and console.

  1. 1
    Launch the game
Open Roblox and start a server. Wait until your character has spawned in.
  2. 2
    Open the codes menu
Most games put the codes button on the main HUD, near the shop or settings cog.
  3. 3
    Paste a code
Copy a code from the table above and paste it into the input box. Codes are case-sensitive.
  4. 4
    Claim your reward
Press Redeem (or the equivalent). Rewards usually apply instantly to your inventory.

Why codes may not work

If you got an error, here's the usual reason.

Code expired between checks
Developers sometimes pull codes mid-day. Vote Expired below and we'll re-verify.
One-per-account limit
Most codes can only be redeemed once per Roblox account.
Server cache
Rejoin or hop to a new server, then try again.
Capitalization & spaces
Codes are case-sensitive. Use the Copy button to avoid typos.

About Da Hood

Editorial overview written by our Roblox team.

What's new this week

The codes table at the top of this page rebuilds every four hours by cross-checking five publisher round-ups that cover Da Hood: five independent third-party publisher round-ups. Da Hood Entertainment drops codes around seasonal events and major patch windows rather than on any fixed schedule, so the safest move is to check this page right before a session and again after any Da Hood Twitter post.

  • New codes get a green New tag with an "added X ago" pill so you can see at a glance whether something landed today or three weeks ago.
  • The moment two of our five sources stop listing a code, it slides into the Expired codes section. You won't waste a redeem attempt on dead codes.
  • Seasonal codes — XMAS2025, VALENTINES2026, SPRING26 — tend to have fixed expiry windows tied to the event. They don't linger the way milestone codes do.

Right now the table shows twelve verified working codes, including BUILD for 1,000,000 Cash and OCTOBER25 for another 1,000,000. That's two million Cash just from those two, which covers a full weapon loadout on a fresh character with room left over.

How to redeem Da Hood codes

Redeeming is fast once you know where the input lives. The Codes box is buried inside the ESC menu, which first-timers often skip entirely.

  1. Spawn into any Da Hood server. The codes input is accessible from inside a live server — you don't need to be in a lobby or a private server.
  2. Press ESC (or tap the pause icon on mobile) to open the in-game menu.
  3. Find the "Twitter/X Codes" text box. It sits in the ESC menu panel, usually below the Settings and Leave buttons.
  4. Paste a code from the Active codes table above. Da Hood codes are fully uppercase and case-sensitive — build will not work, BUILD will. Use the Copy button rather than retyping to avoid invisible character errors.
  5. Press Enter or tap the Redeem button. A notification confirms the Cash amount and it lands in your wallet immediately.

Each code can only be redeemed once per Roblox account. You can chain multiple codes in the same session without rejoining. Cash shows up in your in-game wallet counter at the top of the HUD, not in your Roblox inventory.

How we verify every code

Most Da Hood guides publish one master list and update it manually when they remember. Our verification runs on a different model.

Five publisher pages — five independent third-party publisher round-ups — get scraped every four hours in parallel. A code only reaches the Active codes table once at least two independent sources list it under their current working section. That threshold cuts out the single-site typos and stale pastes that flood other lists.

The source-count pill on each row tells you exactly how many of those five publishers confirmed the code on the most recent cycle. "Verified by 5/5" means every source we watch has it listed right now. "Verified by 2/5" means it's newer, perhaps just published by Da Hood Entertainment, and the slower publishers haven't caught up yet — but two independent sources still confirmed it, so it's real.

Auto-expiry works the same way in reverse. The moment two sources drop a code from their working list, our pipeline flips it to Expired within the next four-hour window. You don't need to trust our judgment on whether a code is dead — the cross-check tells you.

The Last verified timestamp at the top of the codes table shows when the most recent scrape ran. On busy days it's typically under two hours ago.

What you can get from Da Hood codes

Da Hood codes reward one thing: Da Hood Cash. There are no code-exclusive cosmetics, no weapon unlocks, no premium items. Cash is the game's primary economy currency, and it covers most of what matters for building a functional character.

What Cash buys:

  • Weapons — pistols, shotguns, SMGs, rifles, and heavier pieces like the Deagle, AK-47, SCAR-H, M4A1, and MP5. Every weapon in the standard shop runs off Cash. The higher-tier guns cost 500,000–1,500,000 Cash per purchase, which is exactly the range the current code stash covers.
  • Vehicles — cars, motorcycles, and vans for driving around the map. Useful for escaping after a robbery or repositioning during a gang war.
  • Clothing — fits from the in-game clothing shop to build your character's look. Prices range from a few thousand up to a couple hundred thousand Cash for rarer sets.

What Cash does not buy:

  • Premium cosmetics, exclusive skins, and special animations — those are Robux purchases. No code will ever change that.
  • Rank or reputation — your street rep is earned from in-game actions, not bought.
  • Game passes — those are Roblox marketplace items, entirely separate from the Cash economy.

With the current twelve active codes you can collect roughly 5,243,443 Cash in total if none have already been redeemed on your account. That's enough to buy a full loadout of top-tier weapons plus a vehicle on a brand-new character without grinding a single robbery.

When new codes drop

Da Hood Entertainment follows a recognizable pattern for code drops. Watch these triggers and you'll catch codes within hours of release.

  • Seasonal events. The XMAS2025, VALENTINES2026, SPRING26, and OCTOBER25 codes all follow the game's holiday calendar. Expect a new code each major holiday — St. Patrick's Day, Fourth of July, and summer event cycles are all precedents. These codes typically expire when the seasonal event ends, sometimes within two to four weeks.
  • Map and content updates. When Da Hood pushes a significant map expansion or new area, a milestone code often accompanies the patch notes. The team uses these to soften the disruption of server restarts and patch instability.
  • Weapon balance patches. Large balance updates — particularly ones that nerf popular weapons or rework the shop pricing — sometimes come with a Cash-drop code as a player-goodwill gesture.
  • Visit and player milestones. When the game clears a major concurrent-player or total-visit threshold, a celebration code follows within 24–48 hours. Watch the Da Hood Twitter/X account and the official Discord for the announcement.
  • Developer streams and events. Da Hood Entertainment occasionally drops a code live during a community event or developer stream. These are announced on Twitter/X first and picked up by the publisher round-ups within hours.

If you're planning your session around fresh codes, the reliable tell is a tweet from @DaHoodRoblox or a patch announcement in the in-game news feed. Codes land at the same time as or shortly after those posts.

Why some codes don't work

The majority of "code not working" reports trace back to a small set of causes.

  • Case sensitivity. Da Hood codes are all uppercase. build does not work. BUILD does. Always paste from the Copy button rather than retyping, especially on mobile where autocorrect can silently lowercase the first character.
  • Code expired. Seasonal codes have hard expiry windows. XMAS2025, for example, almost certainly expired in January 2026. If it shows in our Expired section, don't try it. If a random guide still lists it as working but we've moved it to expired, our cross-check is the more current read.
  • Already redeemed on this account. Each code is one-per-Roblox-account. If you redeemed OCTOBER25 three months ago, no server restart or account logout will let you use it again.
  • Daily redemption cap. Da Hood has a limit on how many codes a single account can redeem within a 24-hour window. If you're trying to stack every code in one sitting and one suddenly fails, wait until the next day and try the remaining ones.
  • Account-not-qualified edge cases. Occasionally new codes fail on very new accounts (accounts created within the last 24–48 hours). Older accounts with some play time don't hit this.

If a code fails across two fresh servers with none of the above applying, hit the Expired vote on the row. Our queue picks up flagged codes within the next scrape cycle.

Cash economy and best weapons to buy

Da Hood's Cash economy is deeper than most code-redeeming guides acknowledge. Understanding where Cash comes from — and where it goes — makes the code drops feel like less of a one-time windfall and more like a permanent accelerant.

How Cash enters the economy without codes:

  • Robberies. Banks, stores, and houses can be robbed. Payout scales with risk — hitting the main bank with a crew during a contested server is the highest Cash per minute.
  • Gang territory control. Holding turf generates passive Cash income over time for gang members.
  • Lockpicking. Breaking into cars and smaller buildings gives smaller Cash ticks but is lower risk and lower attention than a full bank heist.
  • Drug runs. Completing delivery jobs moves reasonable Cash quickly on a quiet server.

Weapon tier by Cash cost: Code Cash is best spent working up the weapon tier rather than sitting on it. Rough current shop pricing by tier:

  • Entry tier — pistols, basic shotguns: 50,000–150,000 Cash. Skip these if you have code Cash.
  • Mid tier — MP5, basic rifles: 300,000–600,000 Cash. Functional for most PvP and worth picking up immediately on a new character.
  • High tier — Deagle, AK-47, M4A1, SCAR-H: 800,000–1,500,000 Cash. These are the weapons the competitive playerbase uses in most server-PvP scenarios. The Deagle is the prestige sidearm; the AK-47 and SCAR-H are the primary rifles of choice in high-skill lobbies.

A 1,000,000 Cash code like BUILD or OCTOBER25 puts a new character directly into high-tier weapon access without any grinding. For returning players restarting on a fresh account, the full current code stack means a complete loadout in under ten minutes.

How aim training and PvP meta works in Da Hood

Da Hood has a competitive PvP skill ceiling that sits noticeably higher than most urban Roblox games. Understanding the meta before spending your code Cash on weapons helps you buy the right ones.

Aim training: The Da Hood community maintains several dedicated aim training servers accessible from the game's menu. These servers strip the map down to open dueling zones and spawn you with a standard loadout. Time in these servers matters — Da Hood's hitbox registration is different from most other Roblox shooters, and the tracking required for Deagle headshots is a learned skill rather than a mechanical reflex. Most experienced players spend 15–30 minutes in an aim trainer before any serious public-server session.

FOV and sensitivity settings: Da Hood has in-game FOV and sensitivity sliders accessible from the Settings tab. The competitive consensus sits around 90–100 FOV for general play. Higher FOV helps with tracking close-range targets; lower FOV helps with long-range Deagle shots across open areas. Camera sensitivity is personal, but most skilled players run lower sensitivity than the default for better headshot consistency.

PvP meta: The current dominant loadout pairing is a high-damage rifle (AK-47 or SCAR-H) for mid-range engagements combined with a Deagle for finishing. Full-auto weapons like the M4A1 and MP5 are strong in close-quarters building fights where tracking is easier. Movement — strafing, crouch-cancelling, and jump-timing — matters as much as aim. Raw aim with no movement discipline will get punished by experienced players regardless of weapon tier.

Gang join etiquette: Gangs are social structures that influence server dynamics more than anything codes or Cash can buy. Joining an active gang gives territory income and coordinated robbery protection. Most serious Da Hood gangs run their own Discord servers and recruit selectively — showing up to a server, asking to join in chat, and immediately getting into PvP conflicts before reading the gang's rules is a reliable way to stay ungrouped. Spend some time in the game's social layer first.

How Da Hood compares to other Roblox street games

Da Hood is the most played Roblox urban roleplay and PvP game by concurrent players, but it isn't the only option in the genre.

Da Hood vs. The Streets: The Streets skews heavier toward the roleplay and social side — player fashion, cruising, and passive activities. Da Hood's PvP is more active and the economy more combat-focused. Players who find Da Hood's gun skill curve frustrating often find The Streets more accessible as a social hub.

Da Hood vs. South Bronx: South Bronx occupies a similar niche to Da Hood but with a different map layout and a slightly different weapon feel. The player count is lower, so servers are less contested, which makes it more approachable for newer players still building Cash for loadouts. It doesn't have the same depth of gang infrastructure that Da Hood's mature community has built up.

Da Hood vs. Rooba: Rooba is a newer urban sandbox with more emphasis on open-world exploration and lighter PvP stakes. It draws a younger demographic and the economy is structured differently — less Cash-intensive for weapon purchases. For players who want Da Hood's general aesthetic without the competitive pressure, Rooba is the most common alternative.

Da Hood's combination of active PvP meta, deep Cash economy, mature gang system, and developer-supported seasonal events keeps its concurrent count above all three alternatives. If you're on this page for codes, you're already in the right game for the full experience.

Da Hood FAQ

Do codes give weapons or gear?

No. Every current Da Hood code rewards Cash only. Weapons are purchased from the in-game shop using that Cash. No code has ever directly issued a weapon, vehicle skin, or cosmetic item to an account.

Is Da Hood Cash account-wide or server-specific?

Your Da Hood Cash wallet is tied to your Roblox account and persists across every server and session. Cash earned or redeemed in one server is available in every other. You cannot lose Cash balance by leaving a server or dying.

Can you get banned for using codes?

No. Codes are an official Da Hood Entertainment reward system. Redeeming them is expected and intended. Third-party "Cash generators" and exploit tools are a completely different matter and carry real ban risk — codes issued by the developer do not.

Do codes work the same on mobile?

Yes. Open the ESC menu on mobile (pause button), find the Twitter/X Codes box, paste your code, and redeem. The process and the Cash reward are identical to PC. Autocorrect is the main hazard on mobile — make sure it hasn't lowercased the first letter of your code.

Is Da Hood a roleplay game or a PvP shooter?

Both, and the tension between those two modes is central to the game. Servers contain both players trying to roleplay street life (driving, joining gangs, running businesses) and players actively hunting for PvP engagements. There's no formal mode separation. New players should expect PvP to intrude on roleplay at any point on a public server.

Does Cash carry over between Da Hood's seasons or map updates?

Yes. Cash is persistent across all updates. Season resets and map changes have never wiped player wallets. Code Cash redeemed today will still be in your account after the next major update.

Patch and update timeline

Da Hood Entertainment has kept a steady release cadence. The key updates that shaped the current game:

  • Gang system overhaul — A multi-phase rework of gang territory mechanics added passive Cash income for territory holders and made gang-vs-gang conflict more structured. This was the update that pushed Da Hood's social infrastructure from informal to semi-organized.
  • Map expansions — Several distinct neighborhood zones have been added over the game's history, expanding the playable area and adding new robbery targets. Each expansion brought new Cash-earning opportunities and shifted the PvP choke points that gangs contest.
  • Weapon balance patches — The Deagle, AK-47, and SCAR-H have each been rebalanced multiple times. The current meta reflects a state where headshot skill is highly rewarded and spray-and-pray with full-auto weapons is less dominant than it was in earlier versions.
  • Anti-cheat rollouts — Da Hood has run several anti-cheat update waves targeting aimbot and speed-exploit users. These typically ship without announcement and are followed by a wave of ban reports in the community Discord.
  • Seasonal events — XMAS2025 (December 2025), VALENTINES2026 (February 2026), and SPRING26 (spring 2026) all brought map decorations, limited-time clothing items, and the Cash codes tied to each window. OCTOBER25 from October 2025 is still listed as active in our verified table, making it one of the longer-lived seasonal codes in recent history.
  • Current state — As of May 2026, Da Hood is running at roughly 1,600 concurrent players on an average day, with spikes during US evening hours. The weapon shop, gang system, and seasonal event cadence are all stable. The next expected major code drop will follow the next seasonal window or a significant visit milestone.
