How we verify every code

What separates this page from the daily rewrites you see elsewhere.

5-source cross-check
A code only appears above once it shows up in at least two independent publisher round-ups, out of the 5 we monitor.
Auto refresh
The scraper runs every 4 hours and refreshes Roblox stats every hour. Stale codes flip to expired automatically.
Verified in a live server
Top codes are sanity-checked inside a live Evade server before we surface them as Working.

Expired codes

Kept for reference. These no longer redeem — please don't waste time.

How to redeem Evade codes

Four-step process. Identical on PC, mobile, and console.

  1. 1
    Launch the game
Open Roblox and start a server. Wait until your character has spawned in.
  2. 2
    Open the codes menu
Most games put the codes button on the main HUD, near the shop or settings cog.
  3. 3
    Paste a code
Copy a code from the table above and paste it into the input box. Codes are case-sensitive.
  4. 4
    Claim your reward
Press Redeem (or the equivalent). Rewards usually apply instantly to your inventory.

Why codes may not work

If you got an error, here's the usual reason.

Code expired between checks
Developers sometimes pull codes mid-day. Vote Expired below and we'll re-verify.
One-per-account limit
Most codes can only be redeemed once per Roblox account.
Server cache
Rejoin or hop to a new server, then try again.
Capitalization & spaces
Codes are case-sensitive. Use the Copy button to avoid typos.

About Evade

Editorial overview written by our Roblox team.

What's new this week

The codes table at the top of this page rebuilds itself every four hours by cross-checking the same publisher round-ups the Evade community watches on Discord. Hexagon Development Community drops new codes irregularly, so the safest read is to load this page, grab whatever's listed as Active, and check back after the next major Evade update.

  • New codes are flagged with a green New tag and an "added X ago" pill so you can tell at a glance whether something just landed.
  • The moment two of our four sources stop listing a code, it slides into the Expired codes section below so you don't waste a redeem attempt on something dead.
  • Point codes (small currency drops like hdc_roblox) tend to outlast badge codes by months, because badges expire as soon as the Hexagon team rotates their cosmetic catalogue.

How to redeem Evade codes

Redeeming an Evade code is a sub-ten-second job, but the codes input lives behind two menus instead of one, which trips up first-timers.

  1. Launch Evade in Roblox and load into the lobby. Codes can only be entered from the main menu, not from inside a round.
  2. Open the menu by pressing M on PC or tapping the Menu button on mobile or Xbox.
  3. Click the Codes button in the menu strip. The codes pop-up is small and easy to miss, sitting between Settings and Credits.
  4. Paste a code from the Active codes table above. Evade codes are case-sensitive and several use mixed case (HolidayUpdateFix, not HOLIDAYUPDATEFIX), so always use the Copy button rather than retyping.
  5. Press Enter or tap Redeem. A toast notification appears at the bottom of the screen if the code worked; you'll see the Points, XP, or cosmetic land in your inventory immediately.

You can chain codes back-to-back, but each one can only be redeemed once per Roblox account. Cosmetic badges show up under your avatar in the lobby; Tokens and Points slot into the shop currency counter at the top-right.

How we verify every code

This is the section publisher round-ups usually skip and we lean on hard. Every Evade code that reaches the Active codes table has cleared three checks before you see it.

First, we monitor four independent publisher round-ups in parallel. A code only becomes a candidate when at least two of those four list it under their working table on the same scrape cycle. That single rule kills the bulk of typos and stale single-site copies the moment they happen.

Second, the scraper writes the cross-source count directly onto each row. The "Verified by 4/4" pill means every publisher we watch has the code listed today; "Verified by 2/4" signals it's newer or more contested, but still safe to try. The pill updates on every refresh, so you're always reading the current count, not a snapshot from when the code was first added.

Third, the auto-expiry sweep flips a working code to Expired the moment two of our sources stop listing it. Evade codes have an unusually long tail (hdc_roblox has been live since the game's developer-name tribute event), so we don't aggressively prune. But once two publishers drop a code, ours drops it too.

The whole pipeline runs every four hours on its own. If the Last verified stripe at the top says "23 min ago," that's because the page literally re-checked the publisher round-ups 23 minutes ago in the background of someone else's visit.

What you can get from Evade codes

Evade codes never reward exclusive Nextbots, special items, or VIP server access. What they do give you is shop currency and limited-time cosmetics that aren't sold anywhere else.

  • Points — Evade's primary cosmetic currency, used in the shop to buy emotes, voice lines, and starter trails. Most current codes drop Points in 10-50 increments.
  • Tokens — secondary currency used for higher-tier cosmetic packs and the seasonal rotating banner. Tokens are harder to farm than Points, which makes Token codes (HolidayUpdateFix gave 2,000) the most valuable of the bunch when they're live.
  • XP — boosts your account level, which unlocks emote slots and chat colour options. XP codes are typically tied to a bug-apology drop after a broken patch.
  • Cosmetic badges — flat avatar accolades that show up in the lobby. The therealdeal Bird Badge is the most common badge code still in rotation.
  • Pins — seasonal cosmetic icons (St. Patrick's clover, New Year's countdown, Halloween jack-o-lantern). Pins arrive as event-specific codes and almost always expire within a week of the holiday they're tied to.

You'll never see a code for unreleased Nextbots, donor perks, hat slot extensions, or premium currency conversion. Anything promising those is fake — Hexagon has never run a code of that kind.

When new codes drop

Evade is not a frequent-code game. Hexagon publishes codes around fixed event windows rather than on a calendar.

  • Major content updates. The numbered Evade updates (currently the [🌻 SPRING] cycle) usually ship with one or two codes the day of release.
  • Visit milestones. When the game hits a round visit count, an anniversary-style code follows within 24 hours. thebig5 was the 5-billion-visit code; 1bill was 1-billion.
  • Bug-apology codes. When a patch breaks something serious (the Holiday 2023 update wiped Token balances, hence HolidayUpdateFix), the team drops a make-good code the same day.
  • Seasonal events. Spring, Summer, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year cycles each tend to bring one cosmetic-pin code.
  • Devstream giveaways. Hexagon's monthly developer streams on the @hdcroblox channel occasionally announce a single chat-only code that rolls into the round-ups within hours.

If you're timing a session for fresh codes, watch for an update teaser on the official Hexagon Twitter or the in-lobby announcement banner. Codes land within hours of the patch going live, which is exactly when our four-hour refresh catches them.

Why some codes don't work

Five causes cover almost every "but the guide says it's working!" report we see for Evade.

  • Case sensitivity. HolidayUpdateFix works; holidayupdatefix doesn't. Several Evade codes use camelCase or mixed case, so always paste with the Copy button rather than retyping.
  • One-per-account rule. You've already redeemed the code on this Roblox account. It will never work again on this user, even if the description claims otherwise.
  • Code has rotated to expired. Hexagon retires codes silently; the in-game redeem screen just shows "Invalid code" rather than "Expired." If the round-ups still list it as working, our cross-check will move it within four hours.
  • You're trying inside a round. The Codes pop-up only accepts input from the main menu. Press M to bail back to the lobby first, then try again.
  • Server didn't sync your inventory yet. Brand-new codes occasionally fail to grant rewards on long-running servers. Rejoin a freshly-opened lobby and the redemption usually carries over without needing a re-paste.

If a code fails for you across two servers and across two account states (fresh login and post-reset), hit the Expired vote on the row. Our queue picks up flagged codes within the hour.

Evade code FAQ

How often do new Evade codes drop?

Evade codes are infrequent. Expect one or two around each major update (about every six to eight weeks), plus occasional bug-apology drops. Long stretches without any new code are normal for Evade.

How long do Evade codes stay active?

Highly variable. The hdc_roblox developer-tribute code has lived for over a year. Seasonal pin codes (luckyday, NewYears2023) usually expire within a week of the holiday. Bug-apology codes tend to stay live for a couple of months.

Are Evade codes case-sensitive?

Yes. HolidayUpdateFix and HOLIDAYUPDATEFIX are not the same code to the redeem parser. Always use the Copy button on this page rather than retyping.

Can I redeem codes on Xbox or mobile?

Yes. The Menu → Codes path is identical on PC, mobile, and Xbox. On mobile, the Menu button sits in the top-right corner; on Xbox, press the View button to open it.

Do Evade codes work in VIP servers?

Yes, codes redeem normally in private VIP servers. The redemption still counts against your one-per-account quota, so don't burn a fresh code in a server you're only testing in.

Can I use the same code on an alt account?

Yes. Codes are tracked per Roblox account, not per device or IP. Each of your accounts can redeem the same code once independently.

Why does the Codes button not appear in my menu?

You're inside a round. Codes can only be redeemed from the main menu — press M to leave the round first. If you're already in the menu and don't see Codes, you're on an older client build; restart the game.

Do codes give Nextbots or special weapons?

No. Nextbots are not unlockable, and weapons are tied to round drops or shop purchases. Anyone offering a "code for free Forsaken Nextbot" is scamming you.

Where does Hexagon Development Community announce new codes?

The official @hdcroblox Twitter account, the Hexagon Discord server, the in-game announcement banner during updates, and the monthly devstreams. We aggregate from all four.

Will using codes get my Evade account banned?

No. Codes are an official, developer-issued reward mechanism. Only third-party "code generator" sites carry account risk, and they don't actually issue real Evade codes anyway.

Are old Evade codes from 2022 and 2023 still working?

Almost none. The Holiday 2023 codes (HolidayUpdateFix, HolidayUpdateFixEXP) and the early-event pins (luckyday, NewYears2023) are long expired. The oldest currently-working Evade code is the hdc_roblox tribute drop, which has remained live unusually long.

Does Evade Premium or Game Pass give extra codes?

No. Owning the VIP gamepass unlocks the VIP menu but does not surface bonus codes. Code drops are public, account-wide events.

Glossary

A quick reference so the rewards column makes sense without bouncing between wiki tabs.

  • Points — primary in-game cosmetic shop currency. Earned from rounds and the occasional code; spent on emotes, voice lines, and starter trails.
  • Tokens — secondary high-tier cosmetic currency. Used for higher-priced cosmetic bundles and the rotating seasonal banner items.
  • XP — account-level experience. Tied to emote-slot unlocks and chat-colour options; not the same as round score.
  • Nextbot — the running PNG-faced entity hunting players each round (the genre originated in Garry's Mod). Not unlockable; codes can never grant Nextbot skins.
  • Round — a single survival match. Rounds end when every player is either eliminated or extracted. Codes can't be redeemed mid-round.
  • Lobby — the pre-round social area where the codes menu lives. Returning to lobby is required for any code redemption.
  • VIP — the gamepass-gated server type with extra emote slots and admin commands. Codes work normally in VIP servers but don't grant VIP itself.
  • Whistle (T) — an in-round mechanic to bait Nextbot attention. Unrelated to codes, but referenced in many community guides.
  • Forsaken / [⭐] tag — seasonal banner prefixes the Hexagon team adds to the Roblox name during events. Don't include them in slug searches.
  • HDC — Hexagon Development Community, the dev group. Most older codes either reference HDC (hdc_roblox) or a specific HDC employee tribute.

Working tips beyond codes

Codes give you a small Points or Tokens burst once per drop. Sustained Evade progression comes from the round-loop stack:

  • Run extractions over survival every time. Extracted players bank more Points than last-man-standing survivors, and the multiplier on extraction is what funds the cosmetic shop.
  • Whistle (T) early in a round to redirect the first Nextbot away from your spawn cluster. It's a small thing, but it usually saves the first ten seconds of every round.
  • Crouch-vault rather than full sprint through choke points. Sprinting near a Nextbot triggers its attention faster than the line-of-sight rules suggest. Crouch-vault preserves your stamina and stays under the alert threshold.
  • Spend Tokens on emotes you'll actually use in the lobby. Lobby-only cosmetics signal team-up intent and meaningfully change how often randoms invite you to extractions.

The Nextbot reference list, the extraction-routing maps, and the emote-loadout primer each get their own guide — those are on the way.

Recent expired codes and what they gave

The Expired codes table below this article keeps the receipts. Quick highlights of recent expiries so you know what not to paste:

  • HolidayUpdateFix — 2,000 Tokens, Holiday 2023 patch make-good.
  • HolidayUpdateFixEXP — 300 XP, paired companion to the Token apology drop.
  • luckyday — Four-clover pin, St. Patrick's Day 2024.
  • thebig5 — 555 Tokens, 5-billion-visit milestone.

If you see any of those on a guide claiming they're working today, that guide hasn't been touched in months.

About this page

This page is owned by the Bloxyblox codes desk. It auto-rebuilds every four hours from publisher cross-checks, every one hour for Roblox stats, and re-renders within a minute of any vote you cast below. If a code worked for you, hit the green Worked button — it goes into our verification queue and weights future re-checks.

Found a code we missed? Use the Submit a code link in the sidebar. Real submissions get verified the same way our auto-scraped ones do: at least two independent publisher mentions, then a live-server sanity check.
