What's new this week
The codes list at the top of this page rebuilds itself every four hours by cross-checking four independent publisher round-ups against the Garden Game group page. Grow a Garden is famously stingy with codes, so what shows up here is usually all there is.
- New codes carry a green New tag the moment two of our four sources agree. Brand-new cosmetic codes go from publisher round-up to this page in under four hours on average.
- Anything that stops working slides into the Expired codes block automatically the moment two sources drop it. We don't keep dead codes hanging around to pad the list.
- The current active set is small and entirely cosmetic. Every working code right now is for the in-game cosmetic shop — none redeem for Sheckles, seeds, or pets.
How to redeem Grow a Garden codes
Redeeming a Grow a Garden code takes about thirty seconds and the menu is identical on PC, mobile, Xbox, console, and tablet.
- Launch Grow a Garden in the Roblox launcher and spawn into your plot.
- Open Settings. The cog icon sits in the top-left corner of the HUD.
- Find the "Type code here…" field inside the Settings panel.
- Paste a working code from the Active codes table at the top of this page. Codes are case-sensitive, so use the Copy button rather than retyping.
BEANORLEAVE10will not matchbeanorleave10. - Click Claim. The cosmetic lands in your inventory immediately — no server restart, no plot reset.
Each code is one-shot per Roblox account. If a code says it worked but you don't see the cosmetic, open your inventory's Cosmetics tab and scroll down — Grow a Garden's cosmetic shelf sorts alphabetically, not by most-recent.
How we verify every code
This is the bit publishers gloss over and we lean on. Every code that hits the Active codes table has gone through three checks before you ever see it.
First, we cross-reference every Grow a Garden mention across four independent third-party publisher round-ups. A code only qualifies as a candidate when it shows up in at least two of those four. That filter drops the typos, the single-site re-hosts, and the recycled codes from sites that haven't refreshed since the Lunar Glow event.
Second, the scraper writes the cross-source count onto each row — the "Verified by 4/4" pill you see next to a code means every publisher we watch has it listed today. A 2/4 pill means it's either newer or quietly disappearing from one source; still safe to try, but worth checking back later.
Third, the auto-expiry sweep flips a working code to Expired the moment two of our four sources stop listing it. We don't keep dead codes "just in case" the way a lot of round-up sites do, because that's how you waste five minutes pasting things that never had a chance.
The whole pipeline runs every four hours on its own. If you load this page and the Last verified timestamp says "12 min ago," that's because the page literally re-checked the publisher list 12 minutes ago in the background of someone else's visit.
What you can get from Grow a Garden codes
Grow a Garden codes do not give you Sheckles, seeds, mutations, pets, or anything that affects your farm's earning curve. Every working code as of May 2026 has paid out a single cosmetic item. That's by design — The Garden Game keeps the economy intact and uses codes as commemorative drops for awards and seasonal events.
- Cosmetic shop items — small purely-visual items that appear in your Cosmetics inventory. The current active codes (
BEANORLEAVE10andRDCAWARD) both fall in this bucket: a Green Bean Chamber cosmetic and an RDC Award trophy cup. - Limited-event cosmetics — codes tied to a specific in-game event (the Lunar Glow event, the Bees event, the Bizzy event). Most expire within a week of the event ending, so the historical archive of expired event codes is long.
- Award and milestone trophies — commemorative cosmetics tied to Roblox events the studio attended (the Roblox Developers Conference award, the official Garden Game group milestone codes). These appear once, usually expire within 30 days, and are not re-released.
You will never see codes for Sheckles, free pets, free seeds, or guaranteed mutations. Those are all paid-shop or RNG-gated by design. Any "code" promising any of those is fake.
When new codes drop
Grow a Garden codes don't appear on a schedule. They cluster around a handful of predictable events, which is why this page surfaces a What's new this week strip rather than a calendar.
- Major in-game events — the Lunar Glow weekend, the Bees event, and the Bizzy event have all shipped one or two cosmetic-only codes apiece. Event codes go live the day the event opens and expire the day it closes.
- Roblox award milestones — the
RDCAWARDcode dropped after The Garden Game won at the 2026 Roblox Developers Conference. Expect this pattern to repeat after any future award win. - Roblox group milestones — codes named after round-number Roblox group membership milestones (e.g. one-million members) tend to drop within 24 hours of the threshold and stay active for a week.
- Studio-side mistakes — when a balance patch breaks something visible (the Sheckle drop rate, a seed restock timer), a small apology code sometimes follows within 24 hours. These are rare but real.
If you're trying to time a code grab, the best signal is the official Garden Game Roblox group page — code announcements cross-post there before any third-party round-up notices.
Why some codes don't work
Five reasons cover almost every "but it says working!" report we get.
- Case sensitivity.
BEANORLEAVE10works.Beanorleave10does not. Always use the Copy button. - Trailing spaces. Pasting from older Grow a Garden guides sometimes drops an invisible trailing space. If the code looks fine but Claim silently fails, retype it cleanly.
- One-per-account rule. You've already redeemed it on this Roblox account. It will never work again, even if the third-party listing still says it's live.
- Event window closed. Most Grow a Garden codes are tied to a specific event window. If you redeem a code one day after the event closes, the server rejects it silently. We expire those within 4 hours of the closure.
- Server desync. Brand-new codes occasionally fail on older long-lived servers. Rejoin a fresh plot and try again.
If a code fails for you across two attempts, hit the Expired vote on the row. Our queue picks up flagged codes within the hour.
Grow a Garden code FAQ
Are there active Grow a Garden codes right now?
Yes, but very few. As of May 2026 the working set is a single-digit list of cosmetic-only codes. Check the Active codes table at the top of this page for the current list — it auto-refreshes every four hours.
How often does Grow a Garden release new codes?
Roughly one to three codes per major event, plus the occasional award milestone. There are no weekly or monthly code drops — the studio releases codes when something specific is being commemorated, not on a schedule.
Why are there so few Grow a Garden codes?
The Garden Game keeps codes purely cosmetic and rare on purpose. Sheckles, seeds, and pets are the core economy and the studio does not hand them out via codes. Codes are commemorative cosmetics, not progression boosts.
Do Grow a Garden codes give Sheckles or seeds?
No. Every working code as of May 2026 has paid out a single cosmetic item. Sheckles and seeds come from gameplay, the cash shop, and the seed restocks only.
Where is the codes menu in Grow a Garden?
Top-left cog icon, then look for the "Type code here…" input inside the Settings panel.
Are Grow a Garden codes case-sensitive?
Yes. BEANORLEAVE10 is not the same as beanorleave10. Always paste with the Copy button rather than retyping.
Do Grow a Garden codes work on mobile?
Yes. The Settings → Codes input is identical on Android, iOS, tablet, Xbox, and PC. Mobile players get the exact same code list and rewards as desktop players.
Can I redeem the same Grow a Garden code twice?
No. Each code is one-shot per Roblox account. If you've already redeemed it on this account and try again, the dialog will silently fail.
How long do Grow a Garden codes stay active?
Event codes typically expire within 7 to 14 days of the event closing. Award milestone codes (like RDCAWARD) usually stay active for 30 days. Apology codes are unpredictable.
Are there codes for free pets in Grow a Garden?
No. Pets come from eggs, the Egg Shop, and event drops. There has never been a code that paid out a pet and the studio has confirmed there will not be one.
What is Sheckles in Grow a Garden?
Sheckles is the soft currency Grow a Garden uses for everything in the shop — seeds, seed restocks, sprinklers, upgrade tools. Codes do not pay out Sheckles. The only way to earn them is by selling harvested fruit.
Where can I report a Grow a Garden code that stopped working?
Hit the Expired vote button on the code's row above. Two community downvotes inside an hour move the code into our manual review queue, and we re-check against the upstream listings before flipping the status.
Glossary
- Sheckles — the soft currency. Earned by selling harvested fruit; spent in the seed and upgrade shop.
- Seeds — the planting units. Buy from the shop, plant on brown plots, wait, harvest. Seed rarity ranges from Common to Divine.
- Plot — your personal farm. Each player gets one. Larger plots unlock through progression.
- Sprinkler — passive watering tool that speeds up plant growth in its radius. Sold in the cash shop.
- Mutation — a random visual or stat modifier (Golden, Rainbow, Frozen, Wet, Chilled, Disco) that can roll on a fruit at harvest time. Mutations stack and multiply sell value.
- Restock — the periodic refresh of the seed shop's inventory. Different seed tiers restock on different timers (5 minutes to several hours).
- Pet — auto-collector or boost companion. Hatched from eggs bought in the cash shop or rewarded through events.
- Lunar Glow / Bees / Bizzy — named event windows. Each ships its own cosmetics, seeds, and (occasionally) codes.
- The Garden Game — the developer studio. Verified Roblox group; the canonical source of new code announcements.
Working tips beyond codes
Codes give you cosmetics. Sheckle accumulation is gameplay-only. A few habits move faster than chasing the next code drop.
- Plant the highest-tier seed you can afford on every restock. Higher tiers pay back faster despite the longer grow time. Time spent waiting is identical; payout per plot scales hard.
- Set up sprinklers before scaling out plot count. A single sprinkler radius covering eight plots is more efficient than eight bare plots, even if the sprinkler cost feels heavy at first.
- Park your character offline-active. Plants grow when you're offline. Leaving the game open in a background tab on a low-end device pays the same as actively playing — and many players double their daily Sheckle income this way.
- Chase Mutation stacks. A Rainbow + Golden + Frozen harvest pays an order of magnitude more than the same fruit unmutated. Don't sell mutation-stacked harvests at standard market prices — wait for the multiplier-stacking event windows.
- Join the official Garden Game group. Group members are first in line for any code drops or in-game boost events, and any future codes post there before anywhere else.
Recent expired codes and what they gave
We keep an Expired codes section directly above this article so you can scan what dropped recently without it cluttering the working list. Most expired Grow a Garden codes paid out a single named cosmetic tied to a specific event window — the Lunar Glow weekend, the Bees event, and the Bizzy event each shipped one or two cosmetic-only codes that expired within a week of the event closing. There's no hidden tier of "expired but better" rewards to chase. Apology and milestone codes tend to recycle naming patterns when the same scenario repeats, but the actual code strings change each time.
About this page
This page is maintained by the bloxyblox editorial team. We pull from four independent third-party publisher round-ups every four hours, cross-check, expire dead codes the moment two sources drop them, and publish only what survives. We don't accept submissions from creators or paid placements — every code on this page got here because at least two unrelated round-ups had it on the same day.
Last refresh cadence: codes auto-verified every 4 hours, Roblox stats auto-verified every 1 hour. Article last reviewed May 2026.
