Adopt Me! does not use codes

The developers of Adopt Me! have never released a redeemable code system inside the game. There is nothing to copy or paste — anyone claiming to have working Adopt Me! codes is wrong.

We monitor publisher round-up pages, the developer's official channels, and live updates. If Adopt Me! ever ships a code redemption menu, this page will switch back to live tracking automatically and start listing working codes within the hour.

Until then, save your time — any “code list” you find elsewhere for this game is fake. Check our full game list for titles with active code drops.

About Adopt Me!

Editorial overview written by our Roblox team.

What's new this week

Adopt Me does not currently use code redemption. Uplift Games removed the in-game codes button years ago and the studio has not reintroduced it as of May 2026. This page monitors publisher coverage automatically and will flip a verified code live the moment two or more independent sources confirm one in-game.

  • No verified codes are active. The Pets Bucks and Stars systems are funded entirely through gameplay, trading, and live events.
  • Watch the Roblox group feed and the in-game Stormy Ducky Drama event board — that is where Uplift announces freebies that are not codes (login rewards, event-completion drops, Robux-purchase bonuses).
  • The latest Stormy Ducky Drama event ships a Rubber Ducky Box with four pet-themed Duckies. Login each day to claim the streak rewards.

How to redeem Adopt Me codes

Adopt Me does not have an active in-game codes interface. The original codes button that existed in 2017 to 2020 was retired by Uplift Games, and the studio replaced free-Bucks-via-codes with the Daily Login, the Star Rewards milestone track, and live in-game events.

If a new code system ever launches, the redeem flow on every Adopt Me-style Roblox roleplay game looks the same:

  1. Load into Adopt Me and let your character spawn at the Nursery or in the world hub.
  2. Look for a Codes button on the side panel — typically next to the Settings cog or in the Shop menu.
  3. Paste a working code from the Active codes table at the top of this page. Codes are case-sensitive in every Roblox game that has ever shipped them.
  4. Press Redeem. Bucks, Stars, or event currency would land in your wallet instantly.

Until the codes button returns, the closest substitute is the Star Rewards track (Settings → Star Rewards) which drops free Bucks, pets, and exclusive items as you log in across consecutive days.

How we verify every code

This is the part publisher listicles skip and we lean on. Every code that hits the Active codes table has gone through three checks before you see it.

First, we monitor four independent publisher round-ups in parallel: a major third-party publisher, a major third-party publisher, a major third-party publisher, and a major third-party publisher. A code only qualifies as a candidate when it shows up in at least two of those four. That kills typos and stale single-site copies the day they happen.

Second, the scraper writes the cross-source count straight onto each row. The "Verified by 3/4" pill next to a code means three of the four publishers we watch have it listed on the most recent check. A 2/4 pill means the code is newer or more contested; still safe to try, but worth checking back later.

Third, the auto-expiry sweep flips a working code to Expired the moment two of our sources stop listing it. We do not keep dead codes "just in case" the way a lot of round-up sites do, because that is how players waste time pasting things that have never had a chance.

The whole pipeline runs every four hours on its own. The moment Uplift Games ships a working code for Adopt Me, this page will surface it within hours of the second publisher confirming.

What you can get from Adopt Me codes

Even before Uplift retired codes in Adopt Me, the rewards were narrow. Codes never granted Legendary pets, Robux, or trade-locked items. If codes return, expect the same scope:

  • Bucks — the base currency for buying pets at the Nursery, Eggs (Cracked, Pet, Royal), and basic Vehicles. Old launch codes dropped between 100 and 200 Bucks at a time.
  • Daily-login extensions — codes that added one or two days to your Star Rewards login streak were briefly used during 2018 to 2020.
  • Event currency — limited-event codes (Christmas, Halloween, Easter) sometimes dropped a small stack of the event's seasonal currency.

Adopt Me has never granted these via code, then or now:

  • Legendary pets (Shadow Dragon, Frost Dragon, Bat Dragon, Bee Queen, Owl). These come exclusively from event eggs, seasonal eggs, or trades.
  • Robux. No Roblox game has ever distributed Robux through codes. Anyone offering one is scamming you.
  • Trade-locked items. Codes cannot override the trade lock on items earned through other codes (which is one of the original reasons Uplift retired the system).

When new codes drop

Adopt Me codes are not currently dropping. If Uplift Games revives the system, the trigger events most likely to coincide with a code release are:

  • Major event launches. Stormy Ducky Drama, Mythic Egg events, Christmas Advent — historically the windows where Uplift shipped free-currency promotions. The current event is Stormy Ducky Drama; future event launches are the most likely code-return windows.
  • Anniversary weekends. Adopt Me launched on July 14, 2017. The mid-July anniversary weekend each year is a plausible window for a one-off launch-celebration code.
  • Visit-count milestones. The game has crossed 43.5 billion lifetime visits. The next major milestone (50 billion) is the kind of celebration that historically prompted Roblox developers to bring back retired code systems for a single day.
  • Group-member milestones. Uplift Games' Roblox group has tens of millions of members. Round-number milestones are a recurring announcement hook.
  • Cross-promotional partnerships. Adopt Me has run brand crossovers in the past (Concord with Microsoft, the toy line, the comic series). A future crossover could ship a one-off claim code rather than a permanent codes interface.

This page refreshes automatically every four hours. The first verified code from two independent sources will surface here with a green New flag.

Why some codes don't work

If Adopt Me re-enables codes, the failure reasons will mirror every other Roblox roleplay game.

  • Case sensitivity. STORMYDRAMA is not the same as stormydrama. Always use the Copy button on this page rather than retyping.
  • One-per-account rule. Codes are tracked per Roblox account, not per device. If you redeemed on an alt earlier, this account can still claim independently, but the same account cannot redeem twice.
  • Trailing whitespace. Pasting from an older guide sometimes adds an invisible trailing space. If the code looks correct but Redeem silently fails, clear the field and retype it.
  • Server desync. Brand-new codes occasionally fail on long-running servers. Hop to a freshly-opened server (Server List → Refresh) and try the code again before assuming it is dead.
  • Code expired before you got to it. Adopt Me's event-window codes historically expired within 48 hours because tens of millions of accounts redeemed them at once.

If a code fails for you across two sessions, hit the Expired vote on the row. Our queue picks up flagged codes within the hour.

Adopt Me code FAQ

Are there any working Adopt Me codes right now?

No. Uplift Games disabled the in-game codes interface and has not reintroduced it as of May 2026. This page will surface a verified code the moment two independent publishers confirm one in-game.

Why did Adopt Me remove codes?

Uplift Games retired the codes button to reduce duping and account-trading exploits, and to push players toward the Daily Login Star Rewards track (which they introduced as the official free-currency channel).

Will Adopt Me codes ever come back?

Uplift has not announced a return. Codes could return as a one-off promotion during an anniversary, a visit-count milestone, or a crossover event. This page monitors publisher coverage every four hours and will flip a verified code live within hours of a real reintroduction.

How do I get free Bucks in Adopt Me without codes?

Log in daily for the Star Rewards track, complete the Daily Quests (Settings → Quests), sell unwanted Common pets at the Nursery, and farm baby pet quests (feed, bathe, sleep) which each pay small Bucks per task.

How do I get free pets in Adopt Me?

Free pets come from event eggs (claim during a live event), the Nursery's free Starter Egg at account level 1, login-streak rewards from Star Rewards, and trades with other players. None of those use a code.

Can I trade for Legendary pets without spending Robux?

Yes. The trade economy is the main path to Legendary pets without Robux. Save Common and Uncommon pets you do not need, learn current trade values from the in-game Trade Window history, and build up to Rare and Ultra-Rare offers before chasing a Legendary trade.

Are old Adopt Me codes from 2018 to 2020 still working?

No. Every code from the original era expired when Uplift retired the system. Any guide listing SUBZERO, WOOFMOO, GIFTUNWRAP, M0N3YTR33S, or other pre-2020 codes as active is years out of date.

Will using codes get my Adopt Me account banned?

Codes themselves are safe — they were always an official developer-issued mechanism. What carries real risk is third-party "free pet generator" sites that ask for your Roblox login or token. Those are credential phishing and they do get accounts compromised.

Can I get Robux from Adopt Me codes?

No. No Roblox game has ever distributed Robux through codes. Robux is real-money currency from Roblox itself, not from individual game developers.

What is the Star Rewards track and how does it replace codes?

Star Rewards is the daily-login progression Uplift added to replace the codes system. Each consecutive login day fills a Star and unlocks a free reward at fixed milestones (Bucks, exclusive pets, accessories). It is the closest thing to a "permanent code" Adopt Me currently has.

Why are pets locked after I trade them?

Trade locks are Uplift's anti-duping system. When a pet changes hands, the new owner cannot immediately re-trade it for a short window. This stops chains of fraudulent trades and was one of the security upgrades that came alongside the codes removal.

Where does Adopt Me actually announce new content?

Inside the in-game changelog board near spawn, on the Uplift Games Roblox group feed (linked from the game description), on the official Adopt Me Twitter / X account, and in the in-game event UI that appears when a new event launches.

Glossary

A quick reference so the Adopt Me economy makes sense without bouncing between tabs.

  • Bucks — the base currency. Earned from feeding, bathing, and quest completion. Spent at the Nursery, Vehicle Dealership, and Furniture Store.
  • Stars — the Daily Login progression currency. Each login day grants one Star. Spent on the Star Rewards track for exclusive items.
  • Pet — your collectible companion. Tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra-Rare, Legendary, Mythic.
  • Egg — a pet container. Tiers: Cracked, Pet, Royal, plus rotating Event Eggs.
  • Neon / Mega Neon — fusion forms. Neon = four fully-grown identical pets fused. Mega Neon = four fully-grown Neons fused.
  • Legendary pet — top permanent rarity. Examples: Shadow Dragon, Frost Dragon, Bat Dragon, Bee Queen, Owl.
  • Trade Lock — anti-duping cooldown that prevents an item from being re-traded immediately after acquisition.
  • Star Rewards — daily-login progression track that replaced the original codes system.
  • Robux — Roblox-wide real-money currency. Buys the Premium Pass and Robux-only items. Not granted by codes.
  • Nursery — the hub building where baby pets and Eggs are bought.
  • Stormy Ducky Drama — the live event running at the time of this page. Rubber Ducky Box drops include four pet-themed Duckies.

Working tips beyond codes

Without a codes pipeline, sustained Bucks growth comes from compounding the daily systems.

  • Hatch new Eggs at the Nursery every morning. Cracked Eggs are cheap; Pet Eggs scale your odds of Uncommons and Rares. Skip the Royal Egg until you have at least 1,000 Bucks banked.
  • Always finish the Daily Quests. They are the highest-Bucks-per-minute activity in the game. Settings → Quests, complete all four before logging off.
  • Feed and care for baby pets through every stage. Each life stage (Newborn → Junior → Pre-Teen → Teen → Post-Teen → Full Grown) pays a small Bucks bonus per completed task.
  • Sell pets you do not want. A grown Common sells for more than the cost of the Cracked Egg that produced it. Compounded over a few sessions this is the fastest Robux-free growth path.
  • Do not buy Legendaries with Robux. The trade market sets values lower than the Robux store. A patient trader at a known stand near the Star Rewards building can negotiate Legendary trades for Ultra-Rares plus Bucks.

Recent expired codes and what they gave

The original Adopt Me codes era ran from 2017 to early 2020. A few of the most-pasted codes from that period (all expired):

  • SUBZERO — 200 Bucks from the winter 2019 event window (expired January 2020).
  • WOOFMOO — 100 Bucks from a partnership claim (expired late 2019).
  • M0N3YTR33S — 70 Bucks from the spring 2019 promotion (expired April 2019).
  • GIFTUNWRAP — 70 Bucks Christmas-event code (expired January 2019).

If you see any of those on a guide claiming they are working today, that guide has not been touched in over five years.

About this page

This page is owned by the Bloxyblox codes desk. It auto-rebuilds every four hours from publisher cross-checks, every one hour for Roblox stats, and re-renders within a minute of any vote you cast below. If Uplift Games revives Adopt Me codes — even for a single anniversary day — this page will surface the first verified code within hours of two independent publishers confirming it.

Found a code we missed? Use the Submit a code link in the sidebar. Real submissions get verified the same way our auto-scraped ones do: at least two independent sources, then a live-server sanity check.
