How we verify every code

What separates this page from the daily rewrites you see elsewhere.

5-source cross-check
A code only appears above once it shows up in at least two independent publisher round-ups, out of the 5 we monitor.
Auto refresh
The scraper runs every 4 hours and refreshes Roblox stats every hour. Stale codes flip to expired automatically.
Verified in a live server
Top codes are sanity-checked inside a live Doors server before we surface them as Working.

How to redeem Doors codes

Four-step process. Identical on PC, mobile, and console.

  1. 1
    Launch the game
Open Roblox and start a server. Wait until your character has spawned in.
  2. 2
    Open the codes menu
Most games put the codes button on the main HUD, near the shop or settings cog.
  3. 3
    Paste a code
Copy a code from the table above and paste it into the input box. Codes are case-sensitive.
  4. 4
    Claim your reward
Press Redeem (or the equivalent). Rewards usually apply instantly to your inventory.

Why codes may not work

If you got an error, here's the usual reason.

Code expired between checks
Developers sometimes pull codes mid-day. Vote Expired below and we'll re-verify.
One-per-account limit
Most codes can only be redeemed once per Roblox account.
Server cache
Rejoin or hop to a new server, then try again.
Capitalization & spaces
Codes are case-sensitive. Use the Copy button to avoid typos.

About Doors

Editorial overview written by our Roblox team.

What's new this week

The codes table at the top of this page rebuilds every four hours by cross-checking the four publisher round-ups the DOORS community consistently watches. LSPLASH drops codes in clusters — a handful at a game milestone, a few more at a major floor release — then goes quiet for months, so the table rarely changes week-to-week outside update windows.

  • New codes are flagged with a green New tag and an "added X ago" pill so you can tell at a glance whether something just landed.
  • The moment two of our four sources stop listing a code, it slides into the Expired codes section below so you don't waste a redeem attempt on something dead.
  • A handful of the active codes — LAZYDEVS, TEST, NO_DATA, and LOOKBEHINDYOU — are plainly developer Easter eggs rather than community-facing drops. They still grant real rewards (Knobs and Revives), and they still pass our two-source threshold, so they stay in the Active table. Just know they weren't announced on social media and may expire without notice.

How to redeem DOORS codes

Redeeming a DOORS code takes about fifteen seconds, but the Codes input is buried inside the settings menu rather than surfaced on the lobby screen — easy to miss the first time.

  1. Launch DOORS in Roblox. You can redeem from the lobby or from inside a run, which is unusual. Most horror games lock you out mid-run; DOORS does not.
  2. Open the settings menu by clicking the cog icon in the top-right corner of the screen. On mobile, the cog sits in the same position; on Xbox, press the View button.
  3. Select the Codes tab inside the settings panel. It is the last tab in the strip and easy to scroll past.
  4. Paste your code into the input field. DOORS codes are case-sensitive and most active ones are all-caps (SCREECHSUCKS, THEHUNT, ONEBILLIONVISITS), so paste rather than retype.
  5. Press Redeem. A notification appears confirming the Knobs, Revive, or Boost credited to your account. Items land in your pre-run shop inventory immediately — you do not need to restart.

You can stack multiple code redemptions back-to-back in the same session. Each code can only be redeemed once per Roblox account, lobby or mid-run.

How we verify every code

This is the step most DOORS code lists skip. Every code that reaches the Active table has cleared two checks before you see it.

First, we monitor four independent publisher round-ups in parallel. A code becomes a candidate only when at least two of those four list it under their working table on the same scrape cycle. That single rule eliminates the bulk of typos, stale copies, and single-site fabrications the moment they appear.

Second, the scraper writes the cross-source count directly onto each row. "Verified by 3/4" means three of the four publishers have the code listed today — THEHUNT and SCREECHSUCKS currently sit at 3/4, which is the strongest confidence tier in our table. "Verified by 2/4" still means the code is safe to try; it just means two publishers are tracking it rather than three or four.

Third, the auto-expiry sweep flips a working code to Expired the moment two of our sources stop listing it. Once two publishers drop a code, ours drops it too.

The pipeline runs every four hours automatically. The Last verified stripe at the top of the page reflects the most recent publisher check, not when you loaded the page.

What you can get from DOORS codes

DOORS codes give you three types of reward. None of them are cosmetic-only; all three have a direct mechanical effect on whether you survive a run.

  • Knobs — DOORS's primary currency. Knobs are spent exclusively at Jeff's Shop before a run starts (or at Jeff's mid-run kiosk on Floor 2). Most active codes give between 25 and 133 Knobs. THREE is the highest-yield code currently active at 133 Knobs, followed by SORRYBOUTTHAT and ONEBILLIONVISITS at 100 each.
  • Revives — a single-use item that brings you back to life at the door you died on rather than teleporting you to the run start or the lobby. Revives stack in your inventory up to a limit. Several codes bundle a Revive alongside Knobs — SORRYBOUTTHAT, ONEBILLIONVISITS, SIX2025, LOOKBEHINDYOU, and THEHUNT all include one.
  • Boosts — temporary run buffs. THREE and ONEBILLIONVISITS are the only two current codes that include a Boost. Boosts affect luck (rare item drop chance at Jeff's mid-run kiosk) and a minor movement-speed modifier on Floor 2 sections.

You will never see a code that unlocks entities, bypasses doors, or grants permanent stat upgrades. Anyone claiming otherwise is not describing real DOORS codes.

When new codes drop

DOORS codes land on a predictable but infrequent schedule. The clearest signals to watch:

  • Major Hotel+ and floor releases. The biggest code drops have historically accompanied major content pushes — the Hotel Update in January 2023, the Floor 2 "Mines" release in 2024, and the Backdoor / Rooms expansion. LSPLASH usually announces codes in the same Roblox update log.
  • Visit milestones. ONEBILLIONVISITS was the 1-billion-visit code. With DOORS now past 7.4 billion all-time visits, future milestone codes (2B, 3B, etc.) are likely already issued — check the Expired section to see which ones have already cycled through.
  • Halloween and The Hunt event. DOORS runs a dedicated Halloween event — "The Hunt" — each October. THEHUNT is the surviving code from that window. Event codes sometimes grant Boosts rather than just Knobs, and event-era codes have historically outlasted the event itself.
  • Developer stream and social giveaways. RediblesQW (LSPLASH) occasionally drops a code live in a developer stream or in the official DOORS Discord. These codes usually show up in the publisher round-ups within a few hours and hit our table in the next four-hour refresh.
  • Bug-apology drops. SORRYBOUTTHAT is the canonical example — a make-good code issued after a disruptive patch. Watch for these in the 24 hours after a broken update.

For fastest notice, watch the LSPLASH Twitter account and the official DOORS Discord. Our table catches the drop within the next four-hour refresh.

Why some codes don't work

Four causes cover nearly every failed redeem in DOORS.

  • Case sensitivity. SCREECHSUCKS and screechsucks are not the same input to the DOORS redeem parser. Every active code we track is uppercase, but paste rather than type to be safe.
  • One-per-account rule. Each code can only be redeemed once on a given Roblox account. The in-game error reads "already redeemed" rather than "invalid," which at least makes it clear. No workaround exists — if you redeemed it on an alt, it is gone on that account.
  • Code has expired server-side. LSPLASH retires codes without announcement. The in-game screen shows "Invalid code" for both a mistyped code and an expired one, so there is no way to tell from the error alone. If our table still shows it as Active but the game rejects it, use the Expired vote on the row — our queue picks up flagged codes within the hour.
  • Server-side rollout lag. Brand-new codes occasionally fail on long-running server instances that haven't synced the new code list. Rejoin a fresh lobby (not Rejoin — leave and re-enter) and the redemption usually goes through without needing to re-paste.

If a code fails across two fresh server joins and two account states, it is almost certainly expired. Flag it in the table.

What Knobs, Revives, and Boosts actually do

Unlike cosmetic-only currency in most Roblox games, everything DOORS codes give you feeds directly into run survival.

Knobs are spent at Jeff's Shop in the lobby before a run and at Jeff's mid-run kiosk on Floor 2 between checkpoints. Jeff's inventory consistently stocks: Vitamins (HP restore after a Rush or Ambush hit), Lockpicks (open locked doors without the minigame — highest-priority buy), Shears (cut Hotel vines), and Lighter / Candle upgrades (extend flashlight battery in Blackout rooms).

Revives sit in a separate inventory slot and are redeemable once per run — you cannot stack two revives in the same run even if you have multiple in your bank. A Revive places you at the door you last died on (rather than the run start), which on a Hotel+ run past door 80 is worth several minutes of replayed content.

Boosts grant a luck modifier (better item rolls at Jeff's kiosk — more Vitamins and Lockpicks, fewer Lighters) and a minor movement-speed buff noticeable during Seek and Halt chase sequences. Boosts do not stack — a second Boost overwrites the first.

The developer Easter-egg codes (LAZYDEVS, TEST, NO_DATA, LOOKBEHINDYOU) credit real rewards. TEST yields a single Knob — a dry run of the redeem system, presumably. LAZYDEVS and NO_DATA give 50 Knobs each; LOOKBEHINDYOU bundles a Revive. All worth redeeming; just don't expect them to stay active indefinitely.

Best items to spend Knobs on in DOORS

If you have 133 Knobs from THREE plus 50 from LAZYDEVS, here is how to prioritize Jeff's inventory.

Tier 1 — Lockpick. The single highest-leverage purchase at Jeff's. Locked doors appear frequently in Hotel+ and Backdoor, and the lock minigame under time pressure (Ambush chasing, lights flickering) is where most runs end. Buy one before every run if stock allows.

Tier 2 — Vitamin. Rush and Ambush hits are not one-shot kills at full health, but two hits inside a single chase sequence usually are. A Vitamin bridges that gap. Buy one per run alongside a Lockpick if Knobs allow.

Tier 3 — Shears. Useful from Floor 80 onward in the Hotel where vine density increases. Below Floor 50 the Lighter is a better spend for the same price range.

Tier 4 — Lighter / Candle. Worth buying on your first handful of runs while you are still learning the flashlight management rhythm. Veterans skip it in favor of Lockpicks.

Avoid over-buying pre-run. Jeff's kiosk mid-run on Floor 2 sells the same inventory, and Knobs carry across runs. Spread a large code windfall across two runs rather than loading up on one — the Floor 2 kiosk is placed just before the Mines' Seek sequence, which is exactly when a Vitamin matters most.

How DOORS compares to other Roblox horror games

DOORS sits at the slower, puzzle-forward end of the Roblox horror spectrum. Understanding where it fits helps if you are coming from another title or recommending one to a friend.

DOORS vs Evade — Evade is a sprint-based survival loop with no puzzle layer; the entire game is running from Nextbots. DOORS has fewer chase sequences per run but harder individual encounters (Figure on Floor 100, Seek in the Mines). Crucially, Evade codes give cosmetic currency almost exclusively; DOORS codes give mechanical items that change whether you survive. If codes matter to your gameplay, DOORS is the clearer choice.

DOORS vs 99 Nights in the Forest — 99 Nights is atmospheric and slower, with occasional stealth encounters and no shop economy. No Revives, no Knobs. DOORS is more replayable; 99 Nights is better if you want a single narrative experience.

DOORS vs Specter — Specter is a cooperative ghost-hunting game closer to Phasmophobia than to horror-runner. Specter codes lean toward cosmetic equipment skins; DOORS codes lean toward consumable run items. Both games have active code economies, but DOORS is harder to survive solo.

At 7.4 billion all-time visits, DOORS sits in a tier of its own for Roblox horror — the closest competitor is roughly an order of magnitude behind.

FAQ

Can I redeem codes mid-run?

Yes. Open the cog/settings menu from inside a run, navigate to the Codes tab, and redeem as normal. Rewards credit to your inventory immediately and are available for that run if you visit a Jeff's kiosk afterward.

Do codes work in Hotel+?

Yes. Hotel+ is the extended Hotel variant that continues past door 100. The Codes tab functions identically regardless of which mode you entered. Revives redeemed mid-Hotel+ run are available from the same inventory slot.

Why do codes give so few Knobs compared to a full run's earnings?

DOORS Knob codes are supplemental, not a primary farming method. A clean Hotel run earns several hundred Knobs through normal play; code drops are closer to a one-time-per-code bonus than a repeatable income source. The value is in the Revives and Boosts bundled with several codes, not the raw Knob count.

Are there Floor 2-specific codes?

Not currently. The SIX2025 code was released near a Floor 2 content update cycle and gives a Revive plus 70 Knobs, but it is not Floor 2-exclusive in function — rewards go into the same shared inventory used across both floors.

Do codes work on mobile?

Yes. The cog icon is in the top-right corner on mobile exactly as on PC. Paste codes from a clipboard rather than typing them manually — the mobile keyboard makes uppercase entry error-prone.

Will DOORS ever have codes that unlock entities or rooms?

No. LSPLASH has never issued a code that changes game content rather than granting shop currency. Rush, Seek, Screech, Halt, Ambush, A-60, A-90, A-120, Glitch, and Figure are not unlockable or bypassable via any code. Claims otherwise are scams.

Patch and update timeline

A quick reference so the reward context in older guides makes sense.

  • Hotel Update — January 2023. Expanded the Hotel floor count, introduced Figure as the Floor 100 boss, and added Jeff's mid-run kiosk. SCREECHSUCKS and LAZYDEVS date from around this window.
  • The Hunt / Halloween 2023. LSPLASH's first dedicated seasonal event. Introduced Seek's extended basement chase and the first Boost-granting codes. THEHUNT is the surviving code from this period.
  • The Hunt / Halloween 2024. Second Halloween event with additional entity variants. SIX2025 was issued near the end of this cycle.
  • Floor 2 "Mines" release — 2024. Largest single content addition since launch. Added A-60, A-90, A-120, and Glitch as new entities plus a second Jeff's kiosk placement in the Mines. ONEBILLIONVISITS (with a Boost) landed around this window.
  • Backdoor and Rooms expansions. Secret-door side content accessible from the Hotel. High entity density and no Jeff's Shop inside either layer — pre-run Lockpicks and Vitamins bought with code Knobs matter more here than anywhere else.
  • Ongoing: Hotel+. Extends the Hotel past door 100 with higher Rush and Ambush frequency. All existing code rewards apply normally.
