What's new this week
The codes list at the top of this page rebuilds itself every four hours by cross-checking the same publisher round-ups the Death Ball Discord watches. Champions, modes, and codes turn over fast in Small World Games' patch cadence — the auto-refresh picks new drops up within hours.
- New codes carry a green New tag and an "added X ago" pill so champion-banner codes don't get lost under the older Christmas and summer carry-overs.
- Anything that stops working slides into the Expired codes block the moment two of our three sources stop listing it.
- High-value Gems and Crystals codes are flagged separately from "free rewards" codes so you can see at a glance what a 25,000 Gems drop is worth vs. a 500 Crystals filler.
How to redeem Death Ball codes
Redeeming a Death Ball code takes under a minute and the menu is identical on PC, mobile, Xbox, console, and tablet.
- Join a Death Ball server. The lobby works fine — you don't need to be in an active round.
- Open the Settings menu. It's the cog icon in the top-right of the lobby HUD.
- Find the Codes panel. Settings has a dedicated Codes section near the bottom of the list.
- Paste a working code from the Active codes table at the top of this page. Codes are case-sensitive, so use the Copy button rather than retyping —
SUPERNOVANOWwill not matchsupernovanow. - Press Redeem. Gems and Crystals land in your inventory immediately, ready to spend on champion banners or the cosmetic shop.
You can chain codes back-to-back, but each code is one-shot per account. If a code says it worked but you don't see the reward, switch from the lobby into a quick FFA round and back — that re-syncs the currency counter.
How we verify every code
This is the bit publishers gloss over and we lean on. Every code that hits the Active codes table has gone through three checks before you ever see it.
First, we watch three independent third-party publisher round-ups in parallel. A code only qualifies as a candidate when it shows up in at least two of those three. That filter drops the typos, the single-site re-hosts, and the codes someone fat-fingered into a "best Roblox X codes" listicle two months ago.
Second, the scraper writes the cross-source count onto each row — the "Verified by 3/3" pill you see next to a code means every publisher we watch has it listed today. A 2/3 pill means it's either newer or quietly disappearing from one source; still safe to try, but worth checking back later.
Third, the auto-expiry sweep flips a working code to Expired the moment two of our three sources stop listing it. We don't keep dead codes "just in case" the way a lot of round-up sites do, because that's how you waste five minutes pasting things that never had a chance.
The whole pipeline runs every four hours on its own. If you load this page and the Last verified timestamp says "12 min ago," that's because the page literally re-checked the publisher list 12 minutes ago in the background of someone else's visit.
What you can get from Death Ball codes
Death Ball codes never reward champions directly — those come from the gacha banner that takes Crystals or Cosmic Orbs to roll. What codes give you is the currency to spend on the banner, plus a handful of seasonal cosmetic drops.
- Gems — the soft currency. Most code drops land in the 15,000 to 40,000 Gems range, enough to top up cosmetic taunts, champion skins, or a few standard banner pulls.
- Crystals — the harder premium currency, usually awarded in 500 packs. Crystals roll on the limited-time champion banners, where Gems alone can't reach.
- Cosmic Orbs and Dragon Orbs — banner-specific tokens for the Cosmic and Dragon limited rotations. Codes drop them in 50-orb bundles, which is enough for a handful of pulls on whichever banner is currently live.
- Free rewards — generic placeholder text for codes that hand out either a small Gem boost or a one-off cosmetic the publisher list doesn't itemize. Worth redeeming anyway.
- Event rewards — summer events, Christmas events, and major champion-launch events ship their own one-off codes. The reward is usually a unique cosmetic taunt or emote that you cannot get any other way.
You will never see codes for a specific champion, a guaranteed banner pull, or Robux. If a "code" promises any of those, it's fake.
When new codes drop
Death Ball codes don't appear on a schedule. They cluster around a handful of predictable events, which is why this page surfaces a What's new this week strip instead of a calendar.
- Champion-banner launches — every new champion drops with a
CHAMPSOON-style teaser code first, then a launch-day code for Crystals or Cosmic Orbs once the banner is live. - Major update milestones — large patches (the
MJRUPD,XMASUPD1throughXMASUPD3numbering tells the story) ship a sequence of two to three codes per update, each one tied to a specific feature or balance pass. - Hotfix apologies — when a balance patch wipes a meta champion or a server-side bug breaks ranked matchmaking, a
BUGFIXES-style sorry code lands within 24 hours. - Seasonal events — the Christmas, summer, and anniversary windows each spin up an event mode (Cooked Chikin summer rotation, Christmas banner) with one or two cosmetic-payout codes.
- Subscriber and Discord milestones — when the official Death Ball Discord hits a member milestone, a small Gems code follows the next day.
If you're trying to time a banner pull, watch for a champion teaser on the Discord — banner codes land within hours of the announcement and that's exactly when our four-hour refresh catches them.
Why some codes don't work
Five reasons cover almost every "but it says working!" report we get.
- Case sensitivity.
SUPERNOVANOWworks.supernovanowdoes not. Always use the Copy button. - Trailing spaces. Pasting from older Death Ball guides sometimes drops an invisible trailing space. If the code looks fine but Redeem silently fails, retype it cleanly.
- One-per-account rule. You've already redeemed it on this account. It will never work again on the same Roblox user, even if a re-hosted listing somewhere swears it's still active.
- Account age gates. A handful of high-value codes (the larger Crystal drops, anniversary champion bundles) require an account at least a few days old to redeem. Brand-new alts will silently fail those.
- Lobby vs. round. A small number of older codes only redeem from the lobby, not mid-match. If the dialog accepts your text but no Gems appear, return to the lobby and try again.
If a code fails for you across two attempts, hit the Expired vote on the row. Our queue picks up flagged codes within the hour.
Death Ball code FAQ
How often do new Death Ball codes drop?
Every couple of weeks on average, with cluster spikes around full champion banners and major update milestones. The auto-refresh catches them within four hours of the publisher round-ups picking them up.
How long do Death Ball codes stay active?
Gem codes usually last between two weeks and three months. Crystal and Orb codes often expire within the first 7 to 14 days because they get redeemed millions of times on launch day.
Are Death Ball codes case-sensitive?
Yes. SUPERNOVANOW is not the same as Supernovanow. Always paste with the Copy button rather than retyping.
Can I redeem Death Ball codes on mobile?
Yes. The Settings → Codes menu is identical on Android, iOS, tablet, Xbox, and PC. Mobile users get the exact same code list and rewards as desktop players.
Where is the Death Ball codes menu?
In the lobby, open the gear icon in the top-right corner of the HUD. Scroll down inside the Settings panel — the Codes section sits near the bottom, above the credits.
Do Death Ball codes work on Xbox and console?
Yes. The redeem flow is identical to PC. You'll use the virtual keyboard to paste the code into the Settings → Codes input.
Why didn't I get my reward after redeeming?
The most common cause is a stale currency counter. Drop into a quick FFA or Ranked round and back to the lobby — the Gems and Crystals refresh on round-end. If they still don't appear, the code is likely one-shot per account and you've redeemed it before.
Can I redeem the same Death Ball code twice?
No. Each code is one-shot per Roblox account. If you've already redeemed it on this account and try again, the dialog will silently fail.
Are there codes for free champions?
No. Champions come from the gacha banner, which takes Crystals or Cosmic Orbs to roll. The closest you get from codes is enough Crystals to push you across a guaranteed-pity threshold on whichever banner is live.
What do Cosmic Orbs and Dragon Orbs do?
They're banner-specific premium currencies. Cosmic Orbs roll on the Cosmic banner; Dragon Orbs roll on the Dragon banner. Codes drop them in 50-orb bundles, enough for a handful of pulls on each.
Do expired Death Ball codes ever come back?
Rarely. Some seasonal codes recycle when the same event returns (the summer and Christmas events have repeated reward codes across years), but most expired codes stay dead.
Where can I report a Death Ball code that stopped working?
Hit the Expired vote button on the code's row above. Two community downvotes inside an hour move the code into our manual review queue, and we re-check against the upstream listing before flipping the status.
Glossary
- Champion — a playable character with a unique kit and ultimate. Death Ball ships new champions on a roughly monthly cadence behind a limited banner.
- Banner — the gacha rotation that unlocks champions. Standard banners take Crystals; limited Cosmic and Dragon banners take their named Orbs.
- Gems — soft currency for cosmetic taunts, skins, and standard-banner rolls.
- Crystals — premium currency for limited champion banners. The hardest currency to grind without codes.
- Cosmic Orb / Dragon Orb — banner-locked premium tokens. Each unlocks pulls on one specific rotation.
- FFA — Free-for-all, the default casual mode. 25 players, last one standing.
- Ranked — ranked ladder mode. Climb tiers across a season for end-of-season cosmetic rewards.
- Deflect — the core mechanic. Time your input to deflect the ball back at the thrower instead of taking the hit.
- Lobby — the menu room you spawn into between matches. The codes menu lives here.
- VIP Server — private server, free for group members per the Small World Games policy.
Working tips beyond codes
Codes are a top-up, not a strategy. A few habits will get you further than the largest Crystal code:
- Join the official group. Group members get a small permanent boost plus the free VIP Server perk. Both stack with code rewards.
- Climb Ranked weekly, not daily. Ranked end-of-season rewards are the only reliable way to bank Crystals and Cosmic Orbs without spending Robux. Five solid evenings a week beats a daily grind that burns you out by the second week.
- Deflect, don't dodge. A successful deflect counts as offense; a dodge resets the threat back to you. The skill ceiling of the game lives entirely in the deflect timing window.
- Save Crystals for limited banners. The standard champion banner is always live. Limited banners (Cosmic, Dragon, seasonal) are the only place where codes' Orb drops are spendable, so don't pre-roll on standard if a limited window is announced.
- Watch the patch notes. Champion balance shifts hard between updates. The champion you mained last patch may be a tier lower this patch — climb Ranked with whoever is current-meta, not your favorite.
Recent expired codes and what they gave
We keep an Expired codes section directly above this article so you can scan what dropped recently without it cluttering the working list. Most expired codes paid out in the same 500 Crystals or 15,000 to 40,000 Gems bands that working codes do — there's no hidden tier of "expired but better" rewards to chase. The Christmas and XMASUPD series in particular tend to repeat across years with new code text, so if you missed last year's window the same payout structure usually comes back.
About this page
This page is maintained by the bloxyblox editorial team. We pull from three independent third-party publisher round-ups every four hours, cross-check, expire dead codes the moment two sources drop them, and publish only what survives. We don't accept submissions from creators or paid placements — every code on this page got here because at least two unrelated round-ups had it on the same day.
Last refresh cadence: codes auto-verified every 4 hours, Roblox stats auto-verified every 1 hour. Article last reviewed May 2026.
